NIGOの海外初の大規模回顧展『NIGO: From Japan with Love』がロンドンのデザインミュージアムにて5月1日－10月4日まで開催。群馬県前橋市の実家の部屋の再現や、1993年に原宿にオープンした伝説のショップ〈NOWHERE〉のファサード、最新の茶室的空間〈DROPHAUS〉まで設置され、展示物は700点以上。NIGOの30年以上にわたるキャリアを一望できる内容となっています。

そこで『Casa BRUTUS』も2000年12月号のジャン・プルーヴェの記事から2026年1月号のうつわ特集、そしてHUMAN MADEの新しいオフィスまで、長年にわたって取材してきたNIGOの総集編を英語版で刊行。アトリエ、ヴィンテージ家具、デニム、家、NOT A HOTEL、うつわ等々、NIGOの空間やコレクションの変遷をまとめた『Casa BRUTUS By NIGO』ENGLISH VERSIONです。

NIGO’s first large-scale retrospective overseas, NIGO: From Japan with Love, will be held at the Design Museum in London from May 1 to October 4. The exhibition features more than 700 items, including a recreation of his childhood room in Maebashi, Gunma; the facade of the legendary Harajuku shop NOWHERE, which opened in 1993; and his latest tea room space, DROPHAUS. It offers a comprehensive overview of NIGO’s career spanning over three decades.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Casa BRUTUS will publish an English-language compilation of its long-running coverage of NIGO, spanning from the December 2000 issue featuring Jean Prouve to the January 2026 Utsuwa special and the new HUMAN MADE office.
